To zoom in on a region of the image, hit the left mouse button on the region you want to see in more detail.

To zoom out of a region of the image, hit the center mouse button on the region you want to zoom out of.

To get back the original display, hit the R key in the image window.

You can play with the greyscale scheme by holding the left or right mouse buttons down in the color bar at the bottom of the window and moving it left or right.
