===== Dome structure ======

The observatory was designed by the M3 corporation, and  the original drawings of the dome are {{ :scope:dome:docs:m3_design.pdf | here}}. ===== Telescope pier ======
The PW1000 is fastened to a custom plate that is attached to the pier with bolts. The pier before installation is shown in these photos. Also shown is new electrical work done in the center of the pier to have the right adapter plug for the PW1000.

===== Outside structure =====

In August 2023, exterior work was done on the base, steps, and underside of the dome. Stucco was repaired and patched, foundations
were painted, and
a paint was applied called Beakguard which protects against birds who remove and use the stucco as nesting material.
