- We started going over the first Chapter in the NRAO radio astronomy course online notes.

Lecture 2

Complete the discussion of Chapter 1 and start Chapter 2.

Chapter 2 is pretty complete, and somewhat overcomplete at times. A bit is missing on e.g. concept of mean free path and microscopic definition of absorption coefficient and optical depth. I will add that during the discussion of the material.
