Astronomy Research

This is a compilation of some atmospheric/fluid modeling that I have conducted as a graduate student at NMSU in less than 3 years. The video includes density currents, buoyancy waves, vortex loops/lines, point vortexes, and dust transport. Most of the simulations were produced using models built largely from scratch. They are a mixture of Eulerian and Lagrangian modeling techniques. For more information feel free to email me at redmonds@nmsu.edu.

While I do not observe as much these days, this was photo was produced using my Celestron 11" telescope, and software I made to align, rotate, and stack ~100 images.
