Estimating 
Consider a quarter-circle, inscribed within a square. If we "throw darts"
randomly in x and y, some will fall within the circle and some
will fall beyond it in the square.

If we throw a lot of darts (10,000) then the ratio of those which fall within
the circle to those which fall beyond the circle will converge to /4.
