How would you design a sign to warn your descendants of possible danger, danger that they might not recognize for themselves?

One of the concerns with exposure to dangerous amounts of certain radioactive materials is that they can cause damange that does not necessarily manifest (appear) until it is too late to save a contaminated subject. By the time symptoms appear, it may be too late to save a person who has been exposed.
