Cosmological reionization - the process of ionization of the bulk of cosmic gas by ultra-violet radiation from primeval galaxies - is by far the most dramatic event that occurred in the universe since the formation of the first star. I will overview recent observational and theoretical progress (and regress) in our understanding if reionization, and will discuss the future observational avenues that are going to open for us in the next decade.
