HR Diagram as a Means of Dating Clusters

- M13 is a very old globular cluster.

- Only the smallest stars remain on the Main Sequence.

- Many stars have turned into red giants. There's a lot of horizontal branch stars and asymptotic branch stars, too. White dwarfs are there, too, but too dim to see.

- We think M13 is about 12 billion years old.
