Amidst the vast quantities of dark lava rock, there is the occasional white one. On the highway between Hapuna and Kona, many people have spelled out messages with white rocks.
Oh yeah: the Mustang in the foreground is the car I've been driving around in since coming down from Mauna Kea. I reserved an "economy"-style car at the rental place, but when I showed up, they ended up giving me this car instead. *sigh* I managed.
