Re: Cume schedule 2019-2020
Nominally, cume exams are based on a paper that students can read prior to the exam. Thus cumes will start at 9:30 with a half hour block for reading the paper. The exam questions will be handed out at 10 for the two hour exam. In case a cume is given that does not have a paper associated with it, students will be notified by Ofelia the Friday before the cume, to inform them that they do not need to arrive by 9:30am, but by 10am.
Exam givers will not normally be announced to students. If a faculty member wishes to announce his/her exam, the announcement must go out to all students at least two weeks in advance of the exam in question.
The eight faculty cume givers for this academic year, in alphabetical order (which is NOT the order in which they will be given), are: Chanover, Churchill, Finlator, Holtzman, Jackiewicz, Lyra, McAteer, Prescott. Since there are nine cumes during the year, someone will be giving two of them!
