XVISTA vs. HSTPHOT for fornax_u30m02
XVISTA vs HSTPHOT Data files
Matched data file also contains sky values IF only a single frame in each color has been reduced
In all plots, brighter stars have larger symbols, and the symbol shape encodes the CCD row number, with 3-sided to 6-sided going from low row to high row
For now, the XVISTA results use Holtzman et al zeropoints, as opposed to the HSTPHOT results that use Dolphin corrections
XVISTA results have been corrected for CTE (during fitting) using the prescription on Dolphin web page
XVISTA vs HSTPHOT CMDs
In CMD plots, all HSTPHOT points are shown, i.e. no filtering is applied
XVISTA vs HSTPHOT Comparison
In each plot, left panel is HSTPHOT PSF vs XVISTA PSF photometry, center is HSTPHOT weighted aperture vs XVISTA aperture,
right is HSTPHOT unweighted aperture vs. XVISTA aperture.
In HSTPHOT aperture plots, points have been arbitrarily shifted to match HSTPHOT PSF photometry of first star,
so offsets in the right two do not contain meaningful information.
HSTPHOT aperture photometry is shown only for the first pointing
