Announcements:
- Turn in make-up Lab 1 report and summary if you haven't already
- Turn in Lab 2 report and individual summaries
- Hand back quizzes
- Online lab schedule has been fixed
- Next week you'll have a sub--turn in your lab reports/summaries as usual
- Lab 1 comments and some remarks on my grading style
Purpose:
- To better understand the terrestrial (rocky) planets by analyzing their surface features
- To demonstrate (again) how a wealth of information can be extracted from pictures
Reminders for this lab:
- As with the previous lab, some questions don't have definite right/wrong answers. Any conclusions you make should be backed up with a description of what you observed and the reasoning which led you to a certain answer.
- Be sure to answer all Question #s
- Notice that there are questions at the end of the lab to guide you as you write your summary. Responses to these questions should be
included in the content of your paragraphs, and not given in list form.
