NMSU Astronomy Talks

This section describes recent presentations that NMSU astronomers have made at national and international conferences, and lists talks that will be given in the department throughout the current semester. This includes our colloquium series with guest speakers, our weekly informal lunch talks, research group meetings, and graduate student dominated sessions like the seminar series and the journal club.

We also host a highly informal department Tea Time, weekly at 3:30 on Thursday afternoons in the upstairs library (astronomy #207). Come prepared to discuss social events for the upcoming week, or the latest film reviews, and print out your current astronomy results to share with the peanut gallery!
