Research

Dr. Snedden studies the physics of active galactic nuclei. She is especially interested in the structure and kinematics of the gas in the Broad-Line Region, which is comparatively close to the supermassive black holes in the cores of active galactic nuclei and sheds light on the extreme conditions found there.
