Research
Dr. Harvanek's research interests are currently centered on the optical and
radio structure, environment, and evolution of radio galaxies and quasars, and
on the relationship between radio galaxies and quasars. He is primarily an
observationalist, concentrating on optical and radio (synthesis) imaging. He
has also done work in the areas of gravitational lensing and AGN variability
monitoring.
