Research
I have a considerable interest in the fields of particle and nuclear physics,
and their applications to cosmology and stellar astrophysics.
My undergraduate thesis work was on the topic of the evolution with redshift
of Gamma-ray Bursts (GRBs). I am quite interested in the interplay of observations
with theory, and the resulting constraints on physical conditions which lead
to constraining evolution in GRBs.
I began my graduate work in Fall 2005, as a member of the extragalactic
research group. I worked on problems of cosmology and galactic dynamics
with Dr. Anatoly Klypin, making use of numerical simulations to better understand
astrophysical processes.
I also modeled the stellar dynamics of barred galaxes.
Future Work
I decided to change fields in 2007, and began to study applied mathematics and
statistics.
