TOPICS COVERED
Roughly, each week we will cover a topic, though much overlap is expected. Some of the material presented in class can be viewed at or downloaded from the above link.

READING
There is no textbook for this course. I will assign reading weekly. However, I guess I am starting a textbook on the topic, and chapters that are decently mature are available at the above link. (NOTE: if you are not a student in this class and you wish to use these notes, the author would fully appreciate your informing him that you downloaded the material, and even more, would appreciate feedback on them so that they can be improved.)

ASSIGNMENTS AND SEMESTER PROJECT
There will be a bi-weekly homework assignment (or extended over two-weeks). There will also be one semester class project in which we will work in groups. The semester project will be incoroporated into the homework assignments. Assignments are available at the above link.

EXAMS:
There will be three short in-class written exams.

GRADING:
Your grade will be based upon homeworks (60%), the exams (30% @ 10% each), and end of semester project report (10%).
