The 2nd to last column "LowHW Drop" (on the table of FINAL GRADES) is the score that was dropped from your record. If there is "0.0" in this column, then we dropped a missed homework.
The curve in the class is not a straight 70-80=C, 80-90=B, etc. The breakdown is as follows:
Weighted Letter Score Grade ------------ ------ 95 or higher = A+ 89.00-94.99 = A (A- grades were given an A) 85.00-88.99 = B+ 80.00-84.99 = B 75.00-79.99 = B- 70.00-74.99 = C+ 60.00-69.99 = C 55.00-59.99 = C- 45.00-54.99 = D+ 40 or below = FNot all letter grades are the exact same for a given final score. If your grade was near the cut (roughly within 1%) for the next letter grade up and you had nearly perfect attendance and ALL homeworks handed in, then you got the bump up. In no case was anyone given a bump down.
