     The items to which this copyright pertains (henceforth software) are 
     the entire directory tree and files contained therein for the 
     distribution of the HAMSCATT FORTRAN 77 source codes and IRAF script
     hamscatt.cl (Copyright (c) 1994 Steven L. Allen)

     This copyright claims no jurisdiction over the portion of included SLATEC 
     library software, the IRAF IMFORT library (not included), nor the 
     t_apmap.x task (written by Frank Valdes and modified by CWC).  

     The included software must be accompanied by the intact directory 
     structure and its contents, including a copy of the each of the 
     following files in each directory:
              (1) this COPYRIGHT file
              (2) the INSTALL file
              (3) the README file
              (4) a local CONTENTS file
              (5) a local README2 file
 
     These restrictions are asserted in order to guarantee that users are
     informed of the contents of this file, and that all supporting code 
     required to operate the HAMSCATT software are present.  This package 
     does not provide any portion of the IRAF IMFORT interface, which must 
     be provided by the local site.
