I think that Sam Adams is a good beer, but not the best beer for all 
occasions.  I grew up drinking a local PA beer called Yuengling, which is 
actually the nation's oldest brewery, operating since 1829.  They make a very 
tasty lager, and a pretty good black and tan.  The brewery is only a few hours 
from my parents house, and I want to go the next time I have a chance.  I took 
a tour of the Budweiser brewery when I was driving through St. Louis a few 
summers ago, and I got drunk at 10:30 in the morning in the sample room after 
the tour.  That was a fun day.
